Entry Fee is $15.00
Men and Women's Divisions.
This tournament is limited to our club members and club members from those club's whom we have a reciprocal arrangement with.
It will be cash prizes, and the number of prizes on the day will be based on the number of entries.
There is one Gross prize for the Men, the rest of the prizes will be on Stableford.
Tee-off is between 9.00am - 10.30am.
A start sheet will be in the Pro-shop.
Make up your own 4 and book early if you want a cart!!

SUMMER GOLF
TWILIGHT GOLF
Twilight Golf Round 10 was played yesterday.
Still leading the Men's Competition is Jim Aitchison with 173 points followed by Jason Clark on 158 points.
There are another 12 rounds to go so it is still anyone's game.
In the Women's competition, its still a tight race with Elaine Trivett on 152 points and Jenny McDowell on 151.
Haggle Winners yesterday were:

Best 7 Stableford rounds out of 12. This competition is open to both men and women, and, players can choose which course to play. Dot Golf calculates the extra shots across the field.
After today's round the young gun has jumped out in front. Jason Clark is leading the field on 232 points followed by Mick Jones on 228 and Marsh Tua on 221. Very exciting!

Junior Golf:

There will be a 45 minute coaching session with Pieter Zwart and a team of volunteers which is open to Juniors between the ages of 5 - 15 years old.
This is a trial run to find out how much interest there is. This session is open only to our current junior members and to children or grandchildren of our club members.

SUMMER GOLF
TWILIGHT GOLF
Twilight Golf is well underway with Round 9 being played yesterday.
Leading the Men's Competition is Jim Aitchison with 157 points with Wayne Jump on 144 points.
There are another 13 rounds to go so it is still anyone's game.
In the Women's competition, Elaine Trivett is on 134 points only 2 points ahead of Jenny McDowell on 132.

To date it is a three-way tie with Mick Jones, Marsh Tua and Jason Clark all on 195 points! Very exciting! It will be great to see who is able to keep up the pace out of these three. The two smoking pistols or the young gun!!

Twilight golf is well under way with round 5 taking place this Thursday.
Numbers have been good but there is always room for more players.
Play commences from the first tee between 4pm and 5.30pm.
Great meals available after golf, come along and enjoy.
FRIDAY GOLF
Jack Cheever’s Competition (Winter) Best 15/39 stableford rounds.
Congratulations to John Halse who is the winner of this year’s competition. John finished with 586 points having led the field for most of the season. In 2nd equal place were Kevin Strawbridge and Bob Ash with 576 points.
This Friday’s haggle is the start of the Jack Dickie Memorial, which is played over the summer season. The trophy goes to the player with the best 7 stableford rounds out of 12.
We would like to encourage more participation in the Friday haggle and for the first time all players can play from the tee of your choice, so select the tee that suits your game. Dot Golf will calculate the extra shots across the field.
SUNDAY GOLF
The Nelson and Simich Cup starts this Sunday and is played over 12 rounds through the summer, again the Cup winner is the player with the best 7 stableford scores.
The haggle will be a mixed haggle each week with the tees open from 7am until 10.30am.
Book your time on Dot Golf, or turn up from 8am and make groups of four at your leisure.
Again players can select the tee marker of your choice and Dot Golf will calculate the extra shots across the field.
The Joker draw will continue over summer and depending on the number of players in the field, may be drawn by 3pm.

FRIDAY HAGGLE – Men’s Jack Cheevers Shield Competition – Best 15 Friday Stableford Scores over the Winter season.
John Halse has led the field for most of the season and after the final round today nothing has changed. John Halse 586, Kevin Strawbridge and Bob Ash finish with 576 points.
30 players were in the field today. The weather was beautiful with a little bit of wind although not as much as yesterday. The haggle today is based on medal and the winners were Paul Jarvis 67, Richard Burrows, Terry North, Gary Batey 69, John McKiernan, Paddy Flanagan 70, Trish Scott, Ian MacRury and Jim Aitchison 71. Hidden Holes 3 & 16 was struck by Marsh Tua and Dan Seymour. Twos: Jackpot
Next Friday will be the first round in the Jack Dickey Trophy which will run through summer.

Twilight golf is a competition played over 9-holes each Thursday night starting from the No. 1 tee between 4pm - 5.30pm. It’s played over 20 weeks with the best 10 stableford rounds over the season winning the Men and Women’s competition.
Last night was Round 4 of the competition and it was pleasing to see 24 players turn up to play in some very windy conditions. Well done all!

It’s was the Ladies Bi-Annual trip to Kaitaia to play for the Spirit of the North Trophy against the Kaitaia Ladies. Waitangi had won the trophy of Kaitaia last year when the challenge was held played at Waitangi. Unfortunately it was a one way trip for the trophy this year because the ladies lost by 9 points but, all agreed it was a great day out anyway.
This Sunday is Closing Day for the Sunday competition. Register by 9.00am for a 9.15am tee-off.
Wednesday 7 November is Wednesday Closing Day. The ladies have planned a trip to Russell; more details will be available next week.
Congratulations to Isobel Jagger who was net runner-up in the Senior Division of the Women’s Champion of Champions which was held last Saturday at Kaitaia.
