14 April 2018

It is with deep regret that I advise you all that long-time member Dugald MacDonald passed away on Tuesday.

Dugald has been a member for over 40 years.  In his time he has been the Club Secretary/ Treasurer and negotiator for the Club with the Waitangi National Trust. He always had a deep interest in the Club and was never backward in coming forward when he thought the Club was going off in the wrong direction.

Sadly, with his death went a lot of the club’s history.

Dugald was a regular Friday Club player with his co-horts Colin Robertson, Ian MacRury, Malcolm Sinclair and Dan Seymour.

He will be missed.
