3 Weeks of Level 2 done!

I am sure that we are all wondering what Monday’s announcement will be.

Thank you all for working with us during this time, I know that we are all ready for a change in levels.

However, we do have guidelines to follow, and we are trying to keep it as easy and simple for everyone:

Please sign in when entering the building for contact tracing purposes.

  • If you do not feel well, stay home.
  • Hand sanitiser is available, use it often.
  • Where possible we have endeavoured to set the club house seating and serving arrangements to help us meet the recommended safe physical distance of 2 metres between players and staff.
  • Food may be ordered from the café counter, which will then be delivered to your table.
  • Plates/dishes must be left on your table for collection when you leave.
  • Bar Service: Only one person at the bar at a time. Please be patient.

THE BAR, AND FOOD, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND TIMES:

MONDAY/WEDNESDAY                                 12.00pm to 3.00pm

TUESDAY/THURSDAY/SUNDAY                   12.00PM to 4.00PM

SATURDAY                                                     12.00PM to 5.00PM

We will continue to close off the main entrance, and men and ladies’ locker room areas. All access to the club house will be via the bar-b-que entrance.

The Board will review this as we receive updated guidelines from NZ Golf and the government.

This Sunday’s competition is Challenge Cup Rd 2.

The 9.00am time slot is full, but the 9.10am slot has an opening for 2 players. Lorraine Stokes has booked in for 9.30am and has 3 spaces available.

Entries are being taken for the Rosebowl 4BBB competition which is being held on Saturdays 20 & 27 June.

Course:

Starting Monday Morning we are going to be punching holes into the greens surface to help relieve compaction and allow the greens to breath.

This process is vital as we head into winter as it also will help water move through the greens surface helping them to dry better.

We will follow this up with a sanding of the greens  to fill in the holes and smooth the surface.

If we are working on the greens, please be patient and wait for a wave from the greenstaff to signal its ok to play.

Thanks, Daniel.

General:

If you are looking for something to do tomorrow after your round of golf, why not call in to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds? The grounds are open to the public for free, so it is a great opportunity to visit the museums if you have not already done so.

Otherwise, thank you for helping us to meet the Level 2 guidelines by, continuing to book on-line, checking in on arrival for contact tracing purposes, keeping your safe physical distancing, and just being cool and enjoying your golf.

Remember to Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands!!
